In a world where there are voices like Angela Davis and Noam Chomsky who aren’t in your face every night talking about the system has been bought by guys like one of O’Donnell’s big bosses, Jeff Immelt, how the Looney Toons neo-fascists blabber about a Nigerian Candidate working in the Oval Office and deny what a majority of physical science scholars say about climate change being real and a threat to our way of life, Lawrence O’Donnell might become Che Guevara to you.

I like O’Donnell’s work, too. The quotes in that image are true and genius. He is great at calling out birthers, for example. But a guy who works as an aide to the very patrician Daniel Patrick Moynahan cannot be leftist and is unlikely to become leftist. O’Donnell is a centrist - got it? Mainstream Democrats are centrist.

There are leftists in the USA - few of them have been successful in politics, in some cases that has been by choice. But because they won’t try or because the electoral system is rigged against them doesn’t mean that their/my ideas do not exist or Lawrence O’Donnell is a leftist.

The U.S. political spectrum has been yanked over to the right a few tracks in the last 3 decades, but that doesn’t make O’Donnell a leftist in a world where there is rational thought.

I first became a fan when he articulated on the air why he’s not afraid to call himself a socialist. His show is rather conventional, but whenever he takes the time to actually share his insights, they really shine.

I’m a Liberal and proud of it!
