The Memphis Animal Shelter puts stray animals to death without giving them a chance to be adopted.
No stray animal that enters the Memphis Animal Shelter gets listed for adoption or can even be viewed by the public. We need to change this immediately! No animal deserves to be dragged down a long cold hallway to their death without even being given a chance to be adopted. This is ridiculous and has to stop! Please see these photos to see how many adoptable animals are killed without remorse. We must stop this now!
I’ll admit, the tone is shrill for me, but animals do deserve a chance to be adopted before being destroyed.
