Growing Pressure on Obama to Do Something Stupid

“Instead of reacting to these events with the haste and recklessness they deserve, the President has chosen to waste valuable time thinking,” McCain said. “This goes against the most fundamental principles of American foreign policy.”

Graham also expressed frustration with the President, telling reporters, “The American people are waiting for President Obama to do something stupid, but their patience is wearing thin.”

In his most withering criticism, McCain called Obama’s “stubborn refusal to do stupid stuff” a failure of leadership. “If I were President, you can bet your bottom dollar I would have done plenty of stupid stuff by now,” he said.

Sen. McCain has (another) moment of hypocrisy.

Sen. McCain has (another) moment of hypocrisy.

After meeting with the Arizona senator in the border region near Turkey, a spokesman for the Syrian rebels told reporters that while they appreciated Sen. McCain’s support, “We were kind of uncomfortable with the place it was coming from.”

“It was pretty obvious to me and the other rebels that everything McCain was doing was just to get back at Obama,” the rebel spokesman said. “And we were like, look, that election was five years ago. It’s time to move on.”

Sen. McCain denied that his support of the Syrian rebels had anything to do with a personal vendetta against President Obama, but according to the rebel, “Every time he said ‘Obama,’ a vein in his head kind of bulged out.”

“The man is a simmering cauldron of rage,” the Syrian rebel said. “He needs to turn his anger toward Obama into something more positive. You can’t carry all of that hate around with you forever—it’s not healthy.”

What else would you expect Mc Cain to say about Palin on the record?

“Of course she can. She can. Now, whether she will or not, whether she’ll even run or not, I don’t know,” McCain said when asked about Palin’s presidential prospects.

McCain said Palin inspires “great passion, particularly among the Republican faithful,” but added that there’s a connection between her high unfavorability rating and the heavy media criticism of her.

“I’ve never seen anyone as mercilessly attacked and relentlessly attacked as I have seen Sarah Palin in the last couple of years,” McCain said.

I don’t how a guy who came up with some half-descent proposals for legislation about a decade ago can tollerate the stupidity that he has to wade through in Arizona let alone regurgitate it just to stay in office.

That is pretty close, but they didn’t get the eyes quite right.
But seriously, good job, McCain: you won the role of Christmas Grinch this week. You sandbagged a Ground Zero first responder and you killed DADT today. What ever esteem you gained from getting your shoulders wrenched off of your back by the North Vietnamese in the defense of your nation has been decimated.
