A second City Council member on Friday called for the resignation of the Fullerton, Calif., police chief over his handling of the fallout following the death of Kelly Thomas and a protest was scheduled for Saturday outside police headquarters.

Meanwhile D.A. Tony Raukakas sees no evil in the killing of Kelly Thomas. Of course he wouldn’t: imagine what would happen to Raukakas office and career if law enforcement all over Orange County started undermining the District Attorney? Crime would rise, Raukakas would loose his next election because boats in Dana, Newport and Huntington harbors would be vandalized, stolen and become targets of other acts of piracy.
